To all our students:
Hello there everyone,
Ever wondered why in England we drive on the left?
An ex-student has sent us a great video that she found which gives the historic reason for us being the opposite of most other countries. So thank you Cristina.
Click on this link for a five-minute drama documentary on this fascinating subject.
And please send us your comments!

Albane's immersion

Our recent English immersion business student came to us from The European Commission in Brussels.
Albane, who works in the Human Resources Department, needed to improve her level of understanding and spoken English for use when interviewing newly appointed members of staff.
She will be publishing her post-course comments on this space soon.

Eleonora Umidon
This is a message for Eleonora from Celia and Gail.
(Eleonora came to us for two weeks in the summer. Her special talent is making music. Reading and writing are not her favourite skills and so, at the request of her parents, we devised a programme of English lessons which focused on visual and audio information.)
Hi Eleonora!
How are you? Did you have a good holiday? How is your viola practice going?
Charlotte, George, Kate and Oliver all say "hello" too.

Best wishes to you and your family.

Paula and Stefania in Green Park
We had a great day out in London when we visited the Victoria and Albert Museum and Harrods in Knightsbridge. We walked all the way from Waterloo Station to Green Park where we stopped for a picnic lunch... but of course it began to rain. Luckily Stefania had her umbrella and we didn't mind.
We are hoping that the course we did with Heritage English will help us to get a better grade in our Toefl exam in September.
Now we are back in Milan and we hope to return next year.
Thanks Celia and Gail for all your help with our practice tests!
