- Heritage English is a small, exclusive language training organisation on the South Coast of England. The founders and principal teachers are Gail Steggell and Celia Lincoln. Both Heritage English directors are fully Cambridge qualified and have a wide experience of hosting and teaching students of all ages and levels of English. Gail and Celia believe passionately that the quickest and most effective way to learn a language is to listen and speak 24 hours a day by staying with English families and having lessons in the home. They supervise all the plans for one-to-one immersion lessons and they monitor the progress of all students during their stay. The combination of intensive formal one-to-one lessons combined with the daily conversation practice out of lessons is what we call “total immersion”.
