Jean-Charles will need to socialise in English also when he travels to five different countries for several weeks of training seminars.
He worked very hard during his lessons and he found conversation with his host family in the evenings helped him to gain the confidence he needed in speaking. His teachers also noticed how his listening comprehension improved and by the end of the week he was able to understand without asking for clarification - even when people spoke quickly.Pictured (left) with his hosts, Becky and John with the girls and their dog before leaving to put into practice what he has learned.
